Simply stated, “Sports Performance Development is the biomechanics required to achieve optimal sports specific movements in the most efficient manner with the baseline, reference formula of distance divided time".


​"Generally, power development is executed when the optimal sports specific positioning is in the range of 0-60 meters. Generally, speed development is executed when the optimal sports specific positioning is in the range of 60-100 meters. Most athlete's needs are between 0-60 meters".


Neuro-firing patterns can be developed and refined at very early ages.

The General Phases of Sports Performance Development

Phase I > A major component of developing athletes at an early age is building neuro-firing patterns with a strong foundation by educating the athlete on his or her optimal sports specific positioning.

Phase II > As the athlete grows, focus should be distributed to more muscular development that will aid in more efficient nuero-firing patterns.

Phase III > Finally, when the athlete is mature, the primary focus should be neuro-muscular facilitation while training sports performance development.
